How to Apply

Pre-requisites

• Be at least 18 years old (preferably over 20 as recommended by CELTA administration).
• Have a level of written and spoken English that would enable you to undertake the course. An undergraduate degree is recommended.
• Have a level of education that would allow you access to higher education in your own country.

Application process

To be accepted on one of our Cambridge CELTA certification courses in Canada, applicants must:

• Complete a brief pre-interview task focusing on language awareness and principles of teaching, and
• Have an interview with one of the Cambridge CELTA trainers at GV Calgary.

Applicants are informed usually at the end of the interview whether they are accepted or not.

Successful applicants will be advised as to how they can prepare for the course before the start date.

1. Download the Cambridge CELTA Information Package.

2. Download the CELTA Pre-interview Task and Application Form.

3. Complete both documents.

4. Submit your application and the pre-interview task (together with the payment of the $30 application fee, as per terms & conditions).
